The smart and better-read among you presumably already know what I'm just beginning to learn this afternoon. I purchased Susan Howe's Pierce-Arrow and Clark Coolidge's The Crystal Text. Um. WOW. I haven't been this astonished while reading poetry for a very long time. I want to read them both slowly, so as to put off finishing them.
