Finally

Got a poem into ZYZZYVA. This is big news for me, as Howard Junker was the first editor to reject my work when I was a baby poet. He continued to reject it for five or six years. I feel like I've arrived.

The poem has the following personages: my mom, my dad, Billy Pilgrim, Billy Idol, Julia B., Kristin S., Josh E., Nick T., and the phantom of lost love Beatrice M.

It also has a wood monkey. Or a year of a wood monkey. And Juicy Fruit gum.
