Eating the balls was fine. My mouth went sort of numb after the first nibble. The aftermath was the the killer. I heard the Native Americans drank a lot of water the night before a hunt or attack so they would wake up early.
If they would have had great balls of fire, they would have been up very early but they would have been useless for the rest of the day. I guess they would have a potent weapon but they would have been useless.
