An interview of Gabe Gudding, with a baker's dozen poetry bloggers asking the questions (and doing various wacky, even shocking activities while asking them) is scheduled to be reprinted soon at a widely accessible venue. It is a rather amazing interview. The questions are surreal; the answers add up to a tour de force on the matter of comedy in poetry and its deeper relation to tragedy, compassion, love (sexual and platonic), Buddhism, and other weighty matters. Gabe Gudding is a funny and brilliant man... This piece will appear along with a couple of one-act plays starring leading post-avant actors (supported by lesser artists), and a graphically violent report on the 2003 AWP Convention in Baltimore. Infamous and fated-to-be-anthologized Blog classics, all.
