A lot of interesting posts at Bemsha Swing lately. I guess the sabbatical is conducive to blogging.

So AWP sent me a letter mentioning that I need a passport to enter Canada. However, other sources tell me I just need a valid driver's license or other state-issued ID and a birth certificate. Which is it?

Last night while watching Iron Chef America, I experienced what I fear was a heart attack. Chest pain, light-headed/dizziness, momentary loss of visual acuity, increased pulse. Then it was over. I think I'm dying over here.

The gender mix is about the same as last time--I wonder if it will provoke the sort of mild controversy that briefly invaded Buffpo and Wompo last year?

Sent the ms. off to Ahsahta Press and Fence today. My fingers are not crossed.

Two damn nifty poems by Andy Mister up at Poetry Dailier today. Tune in tomorrow for a two-poet double feature, nominated by the Cackling Jackal.

You need to either have a passport or a form of picture ID along with a birth certificate. I was just there about 6 months ago and they almost didn't let me in because I forgot my passport, and didn't think about gettting my birth certificate.
Jacob and I went to Vancouver a year ago when he ran the marathon there. You do need a passport. They will only take your DL if you also have your birth certificate.
DL alone was acceptable pre-9/11. It isn;t anymore.
