2. Acceptance letter from Quarterly West. They're taking two long poems, one of them my GW Bush, post-election sadness poem, "One Future That Binds Us."

Nice work, Tony. Very fine. Josh, well, I walked home from an excellent rugby match, first one I've been to, lots of hitting, lots of punching, sat down to the computer to check the score, voila! the biggest choke in 27 years. Wow. I'm guessing you remember the night in Eugene, two years ago. I've been reading a primer on visual literacy, and it reminds me that the image, the visual image has the serious power. I'm very glad I am on an island without American college basketball fans. No TV. No image.
