I've been listening to Buffalo Tom's "Sleepy-Eyed" a lot this past month. This CD was the soundtrack to my summer of 1996. Memories coming back. Sundress. Summer's gone. Tangerine. Made in California. Sunny day.

Tonight. Dinner. Pad Phrik King. Just got fresh green beans and basil from the farmer's market. Town is more overrun than usual by hippies. Country Fair is happening. Will head over to the new bottle shop by my house for beer, post-Thai food.

Dan Jones and the Squids, local folk-punk madmen tonight at Luckey's. I'll be there. If you're in Eugene and reading this blog (ha! not likely) stop by and I'll buy you a beer.

If there was any way that I could avoid working on my project, and come hang with you, I'd do it in a hearbeat. But if I skipped working tonight, I might have a stroke tomorrow from the stress, so no. :(
See you soon.
Would that I were there. Would that I could drink beer and hang out in a smoky bar.
Austin? We could make sure to book rooms next door to each other....
