Last post for a bit (I think)

Off to PDX for Son Volt 2.0

*

"Damn, It Feels Good to be a Gangster" -- Shout-out to Ginabird.

*

One iced coffee down. Dishes done. Enlightening words by Gabe Gudding in the inbox.

*

Registered for Dissertation Hours for the Fall Term. I hope this means FA $$$ show up soon.

*

Lucky Error was once again rejected this week.

*

Mike Denney is off to Corvallis. Peace. October 10th!

*

Tom and Khara are off to Hawaii. Mahalo and aloha and all that. It's been fun. I'll adopt Kenny as soon as I get a new place.

*

Tonight--drinks and music and maybe Ethiopian bar food. Stay tuned. Photographs when I return.

*

In my bag: Fulcrum 3. Bus reading.

*

We've begun reading for The Canary. I went through 60 submissions yesterday. A surprisingly high-quality batch.

*

I guess that's it. I'm outta here for now.
