Hey Kasey--it's not in quotes!
*
And more importantly, (at least to me), Here's To You, the collaborative chapbook by Andrew Mister & Anthony Robinson is slated to appear somewhere soon--by AWP time, for sure.
A roughly chronological series of poems, spanning May thru July of 2005, Here's To You began as an IM conversation on Mother's Day. It became a dozen-plus alternately frenzied and lackadaisical collaborations. Who wrote which poem? Who wrote which lines? We forgot.
Advance buzz for Here's To You:
"This is at least as good as anything Bill Corbett ever wrote."
--Joseph Massey
"Do you think Lee Ann Brown is going to be offended?"
--Anthony Robinson
"Flagrant NYSisms abound!"
--Joseph Massey
"Jonathan Mayhew needs to translate this into Spanish."
--Anthony Robinson
"I am an idealistic, naive, passionate, truth-seeking, spiritually motivated artist, unschooled in the science of law and finance." --Wesley Snipes

I'm stoked to read this, but nothing is as good as Bill Corbett.
Except Mister-Robinson!

But can you bear Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood?
