Poet's Diet

9 a.m. One cup of Earl Grey tea with honey.
10 a.m. Some Gatorade.
1 p.m. BIG slice of pepperoni pizza and one lemon sodapop.
1:30 p.m. Farmer's Market. Tasted a paw paw for the first time in my life. It was weird. Bought apples, pears, baby green beans, swiss chard, cilantro, and Italian frying peppers.
2:00 p.m. Triple Americano with three sugars and a little cream from ECE.
4:55 p.m. Waiting for Ezra to show up with ribs.

I totally tried making those after we had them at El Vaquero. Butter, soy sauce, garlic, & string beans in the fry pan. Totally easy, totally awesome. My roommate and I ate about a pound of them with our fingers.

By the way, did you guys see the absolutely GLOWING review of that place in the Weekly? Made me chuckle a little, remembering the horse hides, faux blue suede walls & Hannah basking under the golden steer skull....

Oh dear lord. You need ME to make YOU a sandwich. Now I'm a depressed and hungry girl.

Why are you depressed, Ali?

What kind of lemon sodapop? It's wasn't San Pellegrino Limonata was it? Because if it wasn't, you should really consider next time the poet diet calls for one. I grew up with them from my Italian side.

Oh.. and hells yeah to the triple americano at 2pm!

Lyco,

It WAS Limonata. I always order one with my slice. Unless I get Aranciata instead.

besides the fab decor, the music was what really sold me on that place.

Because married men are bad news, Tony. Now I'm going to make some lunch.
