Greg Schapp

Of the many stories of my misspent youth that I entertain my girlfriend with, perhaps 70 percent include Greg Schapp.

Greg Schapp was an important influence during my formative years.

I feel that it would be appropriate to mention Greg Schapp on this blog, and tell tales that would reveal his character.

However, since my youth was misspent, and since Greg Schapp helped me misspend it, most stories involving youth and Greg Schapp are inappropriate for this blog.

I'm sure all statutes of limitations and so forth are all expired, but still...

You could use the "13 confirmed kills" story...that doesn't paint you with any guilty brush strokes.

What about the "Alisha" story when someone said her name kind of loud.

Or how he would drink and clean his guns

Drink and clean guns? Lord, I had a friend who got drunk, and shot himself to death with a barrel in his mouth. Not good, not good.

Maybe you should write something about Buzz Kill. Remember that show from MTV?

Shooting yourself to death with a barrel in your mouth doesn't sound like an accident. I sounds planned.

Uh, no, not an accident. But no one thinks he planned for it while he was sober. He got in a huge fight with his girlfriend while drunk, probably they were breaking up again...and then, suicide. Bottom line: guns and drink are trouble a'brewing.

Greg used to call me when he had love trouble. Greg is a man who loves and drinks deeply.
