Loggernaut Reading

Last Thursday, I read in the Loggernaut Reading Series in Portland at Mississippi Studios.

Things went well by my estimation. I read between Chelsea Cain and Daniel Alarcon, both of whom read really delightful, funny stories. Chelsea was wearing the coolest Pixies t-shirt ever, which inspired me to compose a spontaneous poem as soon as I took the stage. I then followed with an old poem (way old), then stuff from Wintered, Here's to You, and a piece from the new project, 81 Poems/Aviary Evacuation Plan. The audience was appreciative and responsive. I really couldn't have asked for more. The series curator, Jesse Lichtenstein, read a very nice introduction that allowed me to indulge in one of my hip-hop fantasies.

Afterward, talk and drinks. Chelsea Cain bought a HTY. I ate Ethiopian food. Good times.
