morning

Earl Grey with milk & honey. Joe Jackson. 31 degrees Fahrenheit. Blue sky. A cloudlet here and there. Life is good.

Beers with J last night to kill the hours between the end of the working day and dinner. We've become quite close. We were always friends, but now I feel a real connection. Or rather, we've gone from casual acquaintances to friends. I'm happy about this development. Because, as Massey notes, I can turn my emotional faucet on and off with ease. I'm trying to be better.

Speaking of Kate Bush, the Futureheads cover of "Hounds of Love" is great!

*

Finally paid my overdue bills yesterday. Feeling much better about that.

*

Speaking of Husker Du, their cover of "Eight Miles High" is also outstanding.

Hey Tony,
My husband's band opened for Husker Du in like 1984 or something. In Eugene!
