You know who I like?

Noah Eli Gordon and Tony Tost. Why?

Is it their poetry? God no.

But I like them because they take my good-natured ribbing for the good-natured ribbing it is.

I'm not exactly Jim Behrle over here!

my favorite thing about this blog is its model good-naturedness.

You should love the poetry because the poetry loves you.

Tony--

I do not believe you. I think the poetry mocks and scorns me.

Too bad I didn't make it to AWP this year. I was looking forward to arm-wrestling.

For what it's worth if I had to sleep with either your poetry or NEG's, I'd pick yours.

Are you flirting with me?

Also, that's not mocking and scorning in those poems -- it's seduction.

I didn't make it to AWP either -- perhaps at that alternative writing conference, they could organize a flarf vs new sincerity vs lucipo vs pussipo arm wrestling tournament. I'd travel for that.

Wow, this blog is really gay today. I don't mind! What, by the way, and dare I ask, is pussipo?
