Say Your Prayers, Take Your Vitamins

Even though I'll praise Our Dark Lord as long as I shall live, I too enjoy the scriptures of the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Today's bit is from Ecclesiastes.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help. Again, if two lie together, they keep warm; but how can one keep warm alone?

This reading from Ecclesistes was one of the readings at my wedding! I love it, for obvious reasons.

I happen to have access to a lost section of the text:

If two are better than one, then six are better than two. Therefore, it is good to bed thyself with many cat waiters, and keep them warm too!
