speaking of cats

I just rejected a poem containing the phrase "as cats practice catch."

The poem was definitely not what we look for, but the more I think about it the more I like the weird image(s) that come to mind--for me, anyway, cats on their hind legs, holding catcher's mitts. Or cats in the outfield. Or cats throwing around the football. Anthropomorphic feline athletes.

You and your anthropomorphic cats. I still don't really *get* the whole cat waiter thing. But that's old news.

What's there to *get* about Cat Waiters?

I happen to think that cats in tuxedos carrying plates of food are cute.

As do I. Speaking of which, what ever became of the cat apron I entrusted to you?
