Asparagus, where have you been all my life?
Another good asparagus experience today! After toiling for several hours and producing four pages of dissertation, I treated myself to lunch at Marche.
Ragout of beef tenderloin w/asparagus & fava beans, on a bed of very creamy polenta. Desert was a scoop each of strawberry-rhubarb sorbet and ginger ice cream, with two lemon shortbread cookies on the side.
Yum.
