More for the Record

Little's Market, the one-stop beer and ramen emporium. (Backside view.)

New Max's Tavern, (or just Max's), former home to barflies and hipsters. Now closed indefinitely for repairs. Very sad.

My younger and wiser sibling, S-Dog, enjoying three pitchers of beer with 3leggedcat.

Marci--good friend, officemate, and also smarter-than-me PhD person. Note the good-looking chap with the long hair accompanying her.

Marci and a steaming platter of butternut squash, Afghani style.

Lucky Error author's photo?

Trying to look tough. Instead, looking blurry.

Maybe it was Memphis,
maybe it was southern summer nights.
Maybe it was you, maybe it was me,
But, none of your photos are showing.
Not the old one and not the one in your profile.

I like the song reference Tom. I can't see any of the pictures either. I'm at a weird computer at my car dealership getting my oil changed (actually my cars oil) so I thought it was just that.

I can't see them either. Tony, why you gotta toy with my emotions like this?

Yes, Tony. What is the point of posting photos if they appear as little, teeny boxes with X's in them? it's totally unfair to have captions about photos of venerable taverns with great character and then not allow your barfly readers to view them!

I was able to view the pictures late last night -- but I can't view them now. I think it's time to send blogger an e-mail and let them know what's up. You're a very important man and they're going to have to work harder for you and your free account.

Hey, they work now.
Boy do I look like shit in that photo. I look as bad as the way the Blazers are playing right now.
