Question

Have you ever noticed how some folks obsessively maintain/manage both their public persona and self-image in a way that's so obvious it defeats most of the purpose of persona management to begin with?

It's a sort of odd perfectionism. I know I'm not perfect, but I can't let them know that. (But they do know that.)

*

But if I appear perfect, maybe I'll be perfect. Maybe I can backwards engineer this shit. (You can't. And people have noticed. Ostrich, head, sand.)

It's fall here at Tony's blog which means more photographs of autumny things. Decaying buildings, trash, rain. Blurred things. Maybe old pics too. Dirty snapshots of a time when I thought love was easy. Or even just sex. Or something somewhere in between

More poems to come. Made the decision today to finish the 81 poems project. I'll post about that later today.

I've noticed that. Pretty recently I've started to notice that.
