Jim Croce Midterm

In 250 words or less, explain what Kate Bush and Jim Croce have in common. Hint: 19th century British novels.

Oh, but of course. Now answer the question in fewer than 250 words.

Croce has a Wuthering Heights Song too?

This is just a guess and it has nothing to do with 19th Century British novels but I think Spike is a Rubberband Girl and she wears red shoes.

Seriously folks. Both Kate Bush and Jim Croce write songs about “real” people with “real” problems. Much like 19th Century British Novels. The people in their songs and in those novels may not be in situations like you but they are real enough that the reader or listener can identify with the character. That is my guess in 53 words.

Horrible guess.

Songs written to newborn sons--

"Lovely Bertie"
"Time in a Bottle"?

About the 19th century British novel--no idea.

Great Expectations would be my guess.

What's the answer then? I've only ever listened to Kate Bush at your house and I have never read a 19th century British novel.
